In the heart of the Lauragais region, in the small village of Mauvaisin, at 35 km from Toulouse and the Blagnac-Toulouse airport, lies the Château de Mauvaisin, a superb family residence renovated into a guest house that offers the ideal setting for a peaceful stay for either a couple, a family or a group of friends.

The Château de Mauvaisin is a 18th century, human-sized castle, listed as a french historic monument, with a stunning pink-bricks facade, a coutyard bedecked with flowers, and a 5000 acres parkland. The estate is a heaven of peace and tranquillity, surrounded by a park with hundred year old trees.
In the Lauragais countryside that alternates wooded hills with green valleys, the village of Mauvaisin, perched on a knoll, dominates the plain, and offers a spectacular view of the French Pyrenees.
The village sets between Auterive and Nailloux ( off the A66), at the crossroad on the way to the Pyrenean mountain or the Mediterranean Sea, and thus, makes the Château de Mauvaisin ideal touring sites in the south of France.

For more than ten years, the estate and the owners have been at the center of an economical and creative local dynamic. It has been invested in cultural , artisanal and environmental initiatives. In the recent years, several local entrepreneurs and craftsmen - such as an artisan baker with his famous organis bread, a market gardener producing organic vegetables and flowers, an Auberge - have set up their activities in Mauvaisin. The small and quiet village has thus become a dynamic and welcoming place for traditional small businesses with a concern for environment, sustainable local growth and ethical standards at heart of their work.
